History of Summit Hosting

The idea to begin Summit Hosting popped up when Stan Kania (CEO) and Warren Patterson (COO) realized they shared a similar vision: To create an great award-winning cloud-based software hosting company that offered tailored solutions to help businesses save money and increase growth while removing IT headaches.

In 2017, Stan and Warren combined their 10+ years of Sage product and QuickBooks online hosting expertise by merging their companies MyOwnAsp (est. 2005) and NovelAspect (est. 2009 under CloudAspects before merging with NovelAspect in 2011). This merger between MyOwnAsp and NovelAspect resulted in Summit Hosting becoming one of the largest providers of QuickBooks and Sage cloud hosting in the United States and Canada.

At the beginning of 2018, Summit Hosting further grew our company and expert knowledge by acquiring HarborCloud. Additionally, in 2019, we took our cloud computing products and DaaS to a higher level after the acquisition of iNSYNQ’s business assets.
